Crow people, usually referred to as crows, are black bird-like creatures that can block Ida's path, requiring the player to find a means to detour around them. When Ida first sees them in Chapter IV: Water Palace, they are sitting on ledges in various areas. In Chapter V: The Spire, for the first time they are seen walking on the paths. They angrily and repeatedly squawk at Ida if she stands next to them, preventing her from moving past.
As the game progresses, the player finds out that the crows were actually Princess Ida's subjects, cursed to walk the earth like humans as punishment for Ida stealing Sacred Geometry. After Chapter X: Observatory, the curse is lifted and they all transform back into colorful birds with wings.
